from awkward to empowering: how to talk money with loved ones đ¸
want to change how your family talks about money? start here
Most of us have been taught our whole lives that there are just certain taboo topics that you donât talk about. My dad would always say, âThere are three things that are not dinner-table appropriate; money, politics, and religion.â Meaning that casual conversation about money was not possible. You arenât supposed to bring up money matters outside of business conversations, especially in civil company.
Raise your hand if that was your narrative growing up, tooâŚ

That being said, I hope this email will give you the tools and the confidence you need to go forth and have productive conversations that make everyone involved feel heard, seen, and understood. đ¸â¨
